At Chat Browser, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Chat Browser and how we use it. By using our webiste & extension, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
When you signup on chatbrowser.io. You provide your email id, name and other public information associated with your google account for authenication. We do not store any of this information except the email id.
1. Tabs Permission: We need tabs for communicating the URL changed event between background and foreground script so that we can load url specific data for each new url when you click on our extension.
2. URL : We store only those URL where you use our extension by explicitly clicking on Chat Browser extension icon. The stored URL is not associated with any user thus maintaining user privacy. We do not store any other URL.
3. URL Webpage content: We store webpage content in text form for those URL where you use our extension by explicitly clicking on Chat Browser extension icon. The stored text however do not contain any private information about user, only the public version of text is stored. It is not even possible to use Chat Browser on private URLs.
4. API Key & Chat History: API key generated from Chat Browser.io is stored locally on the user browser storage. Chat History is also only stored on user browser storage. We do not store any of the user chat history or messages on our servers. The chat history on the browser can be cleared by provided options in the extension.

1. Request that a business that collects a consumer personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.
2. Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.
